French Gecina to take full control of Gecimed unit
17 May 2011, 08:09 PM
French REIT/SIIC Gecina is to take full control of its Gecimed healthcare unit, abandoning plans to bring additional shareholders into the subsidiary and saying it is "no longer relevant" to keep Gecimed as a separate listed structure. With a 98.6% stake, Gecina is proposing to buy out outstanding stock by a public offer followed by a squeeze-out of remaining shareholders.
