German property funds will struggle to re-open - Scope

Some German open-ended property funds currently closed for redemptions will have a hard time re-opening since attempts to generate cash to avoid liquidation will be hindered by the impact of rising interest rates on deals involving debt financing, plus a raft of new regulations, says German rating agency Scope.
