02 June 2011, 05:08 PM
The French government has set a more cautious ¤400m target for asset sales this year following two years in which disposals fell well short of target. It sold ¤502m in 2010 against a ¤900m target, and ¤475m in 2009 compared with a ¤1.2bn objective according to budget ministry figures reported by Les Echos newspaper.
