Union Investment aims to expand west Europe hotel assets

Hamburg-based real estate fund manager Union Investment RE plans to expand its hotel investments in western Europe, according to its head of operations in France. Dominique Dudan, MD of Union Investment Real Estate France, said hotels are already strategically important to the group, accounting for 8% of assets, but it wants to increase this allocation.
