US Starwood, ex-boss said behind bid for Norway's Norgani Hotels
Starwood Capital, the US private equity group, and former boss Kjell Sagstad are behind the e1.4bn bid to take over Norwegian Property's Norgani Hotels, a source close to the deal told PFE. The Oslo-listed Norwegian Property only bought the hotel chain six months ago. It has declined to reveal the identity of the bidder.
