Foreign investors bet e2.8bn on Spanish construction despite downturn
Foreign capital flowing into the Spanish construction and property sectors between early 2007 and May of this year amounted to nearly e3.2bn - despite a country-wide slowdown. Foreign companies and funds made 75 deals during this time period, of which around 70% ¯ worth around e2.8bn ¯ took place after the first half of 2007.
