Spain's Colonial divestment reaches only e1.7m so far, but backers confident
Spanish property group Inmobiliaria Colonial, now in the hands of creditor banks while company managers try to reduce debt, has so far divested assets worth only e1.7m, or 0.2%, of the total slated for this year, seeding doubt as to the overall success of asset disposal efforts. Nevertheless, creditor banks which hold nearly 24% of Colonial have said the remaining assets will be sold during the second and third quarters of this year.
