Greece finally launches land registry process to regulate development use
Greece has finally launched its long-delayed land registry project in a bid to regulate the country's chaotic system of development which has been blamed for hindering major foreign investment. The Hellenic National Cadastre project was held back for 15 years by bureaucratic and legal wrangles, some dating back 150 years to the end of the Ottoman Turk rule over Greece.
