Kalmyk billionaire plans chess-shaped hotels
Kirsan Iljumzinov, a billionaire and chess fanatic from Kalmykia, southwest Russia, is seeking land in Tallinn, Estonia, to build a skyscraper hotel shaped like a chess figure to promote the board game among the public. The project is aimed to cost EEK1bn (e60m).
