Iberian crisis sinks Portugal-based Sonae Sierra's earnings in first half
Portuguese shopping centre specialist Sonae Sierra posted a e1.3m net profit in the first half of 2008, down massively from e163.7m during the same period last year. The culprit, similar to other Spanish and Portuguese property firms, has been a drastic de-valuation and rising yields.
