Austrian Immofinanz posts 42% EBIT downturn in 2007/2008
Vienna-listed Immofinanz saw operating performance up strongly in its 2007/2008 business year but profit before interest and tax fell by 42% to e515m and pre-tax net profit of e555m was down by 39.2%. Its main subsidiary Immoeast saw pre-tax profit fall by 59% to e266m because rising yields depressed the revaluation gains on its portfolio.
