European RE deals down in 1H08, but wall of equity seeking timing - CBRE
Real estate deals in the commercial sector in Europe were valued at e66.5bn in the first half, down 46% from the year earlier period, but there is a wall of equity ready to invest when the time is right, says CB Richard Ellis. "Cross-border deals still make up over 50% of the market," EMEA Research head Nick Axford told a presentation at Expo Real last week.
