Germany's Allianz on path toward e15bn-plus real estate investment
The giant German insurance group Allianz, after hesitations and false starts, has hired the highly-respected Olivier Piani as head of its real estate subsidiary and given him carte blanche to build an investment and asset management company - and to spend e15bn-plus in the relatively near term on expanding the portfolio.
