New Spanish REIT structure aims at wholesale listed sector conversion
The suddent introduction of REITs in Spain may usher in a liberal structure allowing property groups to convert wholesale into tax efficient Real Estate Investment Trusts, taking out the liability for corporation tax as in the rapid UK sectoral move in 2007.
