Kìron - Italy's home mortgages shrink 10% in second quarter
Italy's home mortgage market contracted sharply in the second quarter after tapering off in 1Q08, says Kìron, the research arm of agency chain Tecnocasa. Volumes shrank by 10.2% to e15bn in 2Q08, dragging down the first half to a contraction of 5.4% against 1H07.
