Selloff triggers redemption freezes at German open-ended property funds
Trapping around e21bn of investors' capital, some 12 German open-ended mutual property funds have in recent days temporarily halted share redemptions in reaction to a snowballing liquidity crisis caused by fund dumping by distressed institutional investors.
