Helsinki hotels' revPar drops 2.2% in first nine months, but October up
Revenue per available room dropped 2.2% in the first nine months of the year over the previous period, with occupancy down 2.9%, but in October RevPar rose 0.5%, according to Christie + Co, using data provided by STR Global. Helsinki hoteliers achieved a moderate increase of 3% in average room rates in 2007, while occupancy increased slightly, resulting in a 4.2% increase in RevPar compared to the previous year.
