Struggling Spanish real estate firms court Arab funds
As the Spanish real estate market crumbles and listed companies either declare insolvency or plead with creditors, several firms have been seeking buyers for assets in the Arab world. Sources at listed Martinsa-Fadesa, which has sought court protection from creditors with a debt of e7.3bn, said the company has already contacted Arab and Chinese funds.
