Finland to start e590m Helsinki-Vantaa airport rail link in spring
Construction of the rail connection to the Helsinki-Vantaa international airport will start next spring, and the 18-km long railway, estimated to cost e590m, is expected to open in 2014. The rail line will connect the airport and central Vantaa to the northern mainline and the capital region's commuter train network, cutting the journey time to the city to 30 minutes.
