Warburg-Henderson launches fund Master-KAG service after law changes
Hamburg's Warburg-Henderson, a joint venture of MM Warburg bank and Hendersons Global Investors, is launching a service called IntReal for real estate managers without a capital investment firm licence under German legislation but who wish to launch funds within this. Hamburg manager HIH has already signed on as a first client, and several other groups have expressed interest, CEO Henning Klöppelt told PFE. The service offers fund administration on the basis of German open-ended property funds. IntReal is also in discussion with clients that could boost fund launch this year to e1bn.
