Drescher to step down as CEO of Fortress' GAGFAH
Burkhard Drescher, CEO of the listed housing group GAGFAH controlled by Fortess Investments, is to leave the post at the end of July, the company said. A statement gave no reason for the change but said the supervisory board will appoint William Joseph Brennan to the post. Media reports indicate that Drescher, a former mayor of Oberhausen in the Ruhr region, is leaving the company due to differences of opinion with Fortress.
