Zurich's Jelmoli successfully launches on exchange after split into two
Zurich's Jelmoli in early April launched separate listings for its stores property group and a split-off unit combining other real estate activities after shareholders gave approval to its strategic plan. Stores are grouped under Jelmoli, a long-established name on Swiss high streets, while Athris Holding combines other property assets, mostly abroad. Management expects inclusion in the Swiss Real Estate Index and the EPRA Index this summer. Jelmoli Chairman Christopher Chambers said that the implementation of the strategic plan marks, "the beginning of a new area in the history of Jelmoli, and the beginning of Athris as a new and exciting company with ample investment opportunities in today's market environment."
