DekaBank pays Sweden's Skanska e117m for Warsaw office
Swedish construction firm Skanska has sold for e117m the Deloitte House office building in Warsaw CBD to a fund managed by German savings bank group Deka. Skanska announced last September it was selling the 21,000 sq.m. building to Deka for e114m and expected a capital gain of e37m. Deloitte House, opened in May, is Warsaw's first certified green building and is fully leased. Colliers CEE director Neil Gregory-Eaves said that while investment volumes in CEE remain low, renewed institutional and private capital interest in core assets is emerging as the global economy appears to be stabilising, with multiple bid situations on some offerings on both the debt and equity side - largely from Germany.
