French REIT Gecina makes new sale, to exceed e700m disposal target
French REIT Gecina has sold a 92,000 sq.m office building in the west of Paris for e98m as part of a disposal program that should exceed its target of e700m this year, providing proceeds to meet a e540m bond redemption in 2010 and other debt obligations. The group said it carried out disposals in 1H09 totalling e226m, and had offers at end-June representing e555m in further disposals that should be completed in the second half. In this way, it expects to exceed the upper range for its initial disposal target of e600m-e700m in 2009.
