Belgian Domo, Piritex in e750m joint venture on Romanian industrial park
Belgian chemicals and real estate group Domo is partnering with Romanian businessman Petrica Usurelu's Piritex in building a e750m industrial park in Ploiesti, north of Bucharest. The project, being built on 220 ha. of land, will include a business park, offices and other mixed use. The deal is being done through Domo's subsidiary Alinso, and the asset also includes logistics and light industrial, restaurants, hotels and retail. Says Alinso CEO Ivan Lokere: "Some spontaneous interest has already come from semi-industrial as well as industrial candidates keen to move into Ploiesti West Park as they want to upgrade their premises."
