Portugal's Sonae Sierra still suffering depreciations
Portuguese shopping centre Sonae Sierra recorded a consolidated loss of E 94m over the first nine months, reversing a profit of E 4.8m in the same period of 2008. This was caused by an indirect result - on valuations - due to the negative climate in most markets where Sonae operates. Sonae's direct result - from operations - reached E 55.8m, up from E 47.3m in the same period of 2008.
