Atrium European cuts 9mth net loss, doubles EBITDA
Listed CEE retail mall developer and investor Atrium European Real Estate cut its net loss for the first nine months to e342m or e1.473 per share but nearly doubled EBITDA, excluding property revaluations, to e64m. NAV per share dropped slightly. "We are pleased with the financial results .. and the progress we have achieved in the first nine months of 2009," said CEO Rachel Lavine. "Our strong cash position, low leverage, strong management team and resilience of our asset class leave me feeling confident of the future prospects of the company."
