Germany's Aareal does e2.4bn new business in first 9mths
Germany's Aareal Bank did new property lending of e2.4bn in the first nine 2009 months, concentrating on its existing clients and loan extensions. This, plus good structured finance and other results, brought in operating profit in 3Q09 at e25m, unchanged from 2Q09. "We have been holding course during the financial year," said Chairman Wolf Schumacher.
