Rotterdam starts construction of E350m highest tower
Real estate developers MAB Development and OVG Real Estate have begun construction of the Netherlands' largest building project ever, the landmark tower De Rotterdam to be built at a cost of E350m by the City of Rotterdam and private enterprise. Designed by world-famous architect Rem Koolhaas, a native of the city, De Rotterdam, provides 160,000 sq.m. of useable space and will reach a height of 150 m making it the largest block of its kind in the Netherlands.
