Carlyle sells Lyons' Anthemis to RREEF for e71m
Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group has sold its Anthemis building complex in Lyons, France, to RREEF, the alternative investments subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, for a net price of e71m including guarantees on the lease of the remaining space. "The investment market in France is experiencing a real improvement in levels of activity, indicating that the fundamentals remain strong," said Carlyle European real estate Managing Director Eric Sasson.
