Bulgarian mall pipeline at 507,000 sq.m. into 2010
Last year's expansion in Bulgarian shopping mall space should continue through 2010, with an estimated 507,000 sq.m. under construction, including 156,000 sq.m. in the capital Sofia, says consultant CB Richard Ellis's Bulgarian partner MBL. Another 1.2m sq.m. of retail space has been put on hold due to lack of financing and investment.
