Germany's DIC Asset to expand into property funds
German listed office investor DIC Asset has commenced preparations for expanding its business model into management of special investment funds. It said attractive properties have been selected for the first fund, with an innovative structuring technique, and it intends to retain a minimum holding of 20% in each fund. DIC will apply its established asset and property management platform to manage the assets and optimise the portfolio. The new investment offering will allow DIC to tap into new investor groups while expanding its investment universe.
