European housing seen showing signs of recovery
Signs of recovery are visible in some European housing markets, especially in sales levels and prices, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. A significant number of European residential markets started to revive after spring/summer 2009 and a further revival is expected throughout 2010. The latest RICS European Housing Review said low interest rates and reviving economies helped avoid housing market meltdown across much of Europe. (See PIE 157 for full story)
