Germany's Colonia sees return to profit for 2009
German listed group Colonia Real Estate expects 2009 consolidated net income well back into profit at E9.0m, turning round a loss of E83m in 2008, and will focus in 2010 on reducing vacancies and boosting rental income particularly in refurbished properties. Bank liabilities were cut last year by repayments of E64m, boosting the equity ratio at year end to 28.0% from 24.3% 12 months earlier. (See PIE 157 for full story)
