French REIT Altarea narrows net loss, confident for 2010
French shopping centre REIT/SIIC Altarea Cogedim saw a marked increase in recurring net profit in 2009 and a narrowed group net loss, and expects a further significant improvement in earnings this year. Recurring net profit rose 16% to E109m, with the overall net loss declining to E108m from E397m. Chairman Alain Taravella said he is particularly confident about the outlook.
