Coeur Défense legal ruling assures real estate investors
Creditors on French property can be assured they will in future be entitled to relevant rental income after the Paris Court of Appeals reversed a controversial decision affecting mortgaged-backed securitisations and brought to an end 15 months of litigation between owners of the Coeur Défense tower in La Défense and creditors, says Lionel Rosenfeld, from the legal practice DLA Piper in Paris in a PIE Guest Column.
