French 2009 property returns fall 1.4%
French property posted a 1.4% negative return in 2009 as the impact of declining capital values outweighed income returns, according to the Investment Property Databank. IPD's France Annual Property Index showed capital values fell 7.1% compared with income returns of 6.1%.
