Tax on rents proposed to finance Grand Paris
The French listed property association has floated the idea of a new tax to finance the Grand Paris plan. Expanding on an idea he proposed at PIE's French Property Breakfast in April, FSIF President Jean-Paul Dumortier said Grand Paris could be financed by a tax based on rental values, meaning that some or all of the levy could be offset to the tenant.
