Barclays Spanish branch sale said last for this year
The latest sale offer of 34 bank branches in Spain by UK bank Barclays is likely to be its last this year, say industry sources. It announced earlier this month that it has put the portfolio on the market, without specifying a price. However, in 2008 it sold 24 branches to the Netherlands-based Redevco in a transaction reported at E65m.
