Italian funds eye European capital-raising, face tax tussle
Italian real estate funds are moving toward capital raising in a more open Europe-wide tradition, but they face a near-term tussle to head off government tax plans which the sector sees as counterproductive, says Ivano Ilardo, general manager of property funds for BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management Italy.
