Moscow warehouse demand picks up, vacancies drop
Moscow region warehouse demand picked up in third quarter, with vacancy rates plunging to 7% from 11.7% in 2Q10 and from 18% over the past year, says Colliers International. Rents picked up to $110 per sq.m. for Class A after a lengthy stagnation at around $100. Modest projected new construction will keep vacancies trending lower and rents higher and may lead to a supply shortage by end-2011.
