German housing portfolios being readied for sale, IPO
With expectations firming that 2011 will be a stronger year in European real estate, German public and private sector institutions are preparing portfolios, mainly of residential assets, to be disposed of in trade sales or via initial public offerings worth several billion euros, industry sources say.
