Foreign opportunity funds more active in Spanish NPLs
Foreign opportunistic funds have entered the Spanish real estate market offering cash-strapped private banks and savings banks liquidity in exchange for non-performing real estate loans. Names include Fortress, Texas-based Lone Star Funds, Varde Partners and Carval, together with platforms such as TDX or Lindorff.
