Huge German housing portfolios readied for sale, IPO - sources
With expectations firming that 2011 will be a stronger year in European real estate, various German public and private sector institutions are getting finances in order and preparing giant portfolios, mainly of residential assets, to be sold in trade sales or through initial public offerings worth several billion of euros, according to industry sources.
