French REIT Mercialys sells E120m assets, buys in Grenoble
French retail REIT/SIIC Mercialys, a unit of the Casino supermarket group, sold E120m of mature assets in the fourth quarter, booking a net capital gain of E31m. The 45 assets sold include service malls, food stores, premises of isolated convenience. The move followed the acquisition at end-2010 of the new Caserne de Bonne shopping centre in Grenoble for E92.9m.
