Sovereign funds to expand fastest in European property
The year 2011 should be a good year for real estate across Europe, and sovereign wealth funds, from Asia and elsewhere, are likely to be among institutions expanding investments fastest in the sector, Christian Ulbrich, Jones Lang LaSalle EMEA CEO, told the CIMMIT property conference in Frankfurt. The impact of regulatory issues such as Basel III and Solvency II will not be as negative as some market players anticipate, he forecast.
