Italian REITs, property funds stirring post-crisis -Morri
The economy in Italy has started to steadily recover but its real estate won't regain pre-crisis transaction and revenue levels yet, says Giacomo Morri, Direttore Master in Real Estate, Bocconi University, Milan. Nevertheless something is moving, and two events should be underlined: the transformation of Beni Stabili into an Italian REIT, and the merger between two of the most important real estate savings managers Fimit and First Atlantic Real Estate.
