Spanish house sales, rents rising again after two year falls
Spanish residential property rents rose by 1.2% in January, less than half the hike of the consumer price index, which rose 3.3%, while sales rose by 6.8% in 2010 as a whole, breaking the declines of 2008 and 2009, says the national statistics bureau INE. Home sales rose to 222,655 transactions, 50.4% of which were new properties.
