French REIT FdR surges back into 2010 profit
Foncière des Régions, third largest REIT/SIIC in France, reported 2010 EPRA net income of E871m, a sharp reversal of a EE465m loss in 2009. This mainly derived from portfolio revaluation of E537m which helped operating income soar to nearly 1.3bn from E41m. Rental income was little changed. It said it is well positioned to move forward in 2011.
