Doughty Hanson buys Spain retail centres for E120m
UK-based private equity firm Doughty Hanson has bought two shopping centres, in Madrid and the western province of León, for E120m from Portuguese-based shopping centre group Sonae Sierra. The malls Plaza Éboli and El Rosal are anchored by premium retail chains and comprise more than 31,000 sq.m. in Madrid and more than 50,000 sq.m. in Ponferrada, the firm said.
